Between 2004 and 2014, the Salle Carpe Diem, nestled in Old Longueuil, embodied a vibrant space for artistic creation and dissemination. A flagship venue for the Carré-Théâtre, it offered an intimate stage for public readings, theatrical performances, musical evenings and a rehearsal space for professional artists. The Carré-Théâtre is resuming its performance dissemination activities there, under the direction of This pocket theatre has allowed a new generation of artists, both local and national, to shine in an atmosphere conducive to experimentation and exchange. A true artistic laboratory, the venue nourished Longueuil's cultural scene before closing its doors in 2014, to be reborn in 2023 with a renewed vision.

With its 40 modular seats, it offers an immersive experience where each spectator is directly part of the artistic experience. The space is designed to promote the development of each artist who performs there, with professional equipment for the stage, sound, lighting, and a modern control room. Surrounded by streets offering free parking and a few steps from the Longueuil metro station, the room is a true showcase of creativity, ideal for performances in the performing arts, music, and technological arts, at the heart of the action.
